The Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world which is located in Dubai, UAE. Standing tall at a height of 2722 feet, it is one of the renowned skyscrapers in the world gaining fame at the international level and to visit at the top of Burj Khalifa is a scintillating experience, bringing enormous joy.
Initially, the name was Burj Dubai but later was named Burj Khalifa in the honor of Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi. Burj means tower in Arabic.
Being a combination of cutting edge construction and technologies, this superstructure took six years, 12,000 international workers and 22 million hours to complete. However, it doesn’t stand alone but is accompanied by 12 hectares of artificial Dubai Lake as well as the Dubai Mall.
The Burj Khalifa is not just standing tall but also houses residents in the Armani Residences from the 9th-16th floor, has a club and a health & wellness center (19th-108th floor), the Armani Hotel (39th floor), a swimming pool at the 76th floor, a fine dining restaurant named At. Mosphere (122nd floor) and the Burj Khalifa observation deck on the 124th floor.
Opened in January 2010, “At the Top” is one of the world’s highest observation deck. Tourists are taken up to the 124th floor by a high-speed elevator and can view Dubai city at a 360degree angle. One can easily spend 90 minutes to enjoy this experience at the top. There are wheelchair facilities and it is also very child friendly.
Being a combination of awe and magnificence, this megastructure is something one can’t and shouldn’t miss when one visits Dubai.

After you finish breakfast at your hotel, hop onto our tour bus we have arranged for you to Burj Khalifa. The pick-up will be between 10:00am-10:15am directly from your hotel. Transfers will be seated on a coach basis. You need to be ready and wait in the hotel lobby 15mins prior (we leave early to avoid crowd and long queue for tickets).
Reach Dubai Mall, and make your way through Dubai Mall to Burj Khalifa at 11 am. Do keep your tickets ready in hand. Once you are allowed entry, you can proceed towards the lift. The lift takes you to the top in split seconds and you won’t even feel a thing.
The 124th floor is the main observatory deck. From here, you can get full 360degree views of entire Dubai city. Click as many pictures as you can from here. Spend a good half hour to 45minutes on this floor.
Note that: if you take the prime slots for 3pm or dinner at the top or even the ‘At the Top Sky’, which is the premier lounge for dining and relaxing at the 148th floor, the itinerary will differ. The prime slots that start in the noon end with the fountain show in the evening.
Head back down via the same lift to the main entrance. However, you will pass through many facts and information on the history of this iconic tower, all in visual form.
Once all have gathered back to the chosen spot in the mall, you are guided back to the coach and after seated in, the bus will depart. The return journey will be the same route as the arrival journey, however subject to evening traffic which will delay the journey timing.
It is open 24 hours however one can usually visit from 8.30 am to 11 pm every day of the week.
People with acute health issues are mostly advised not to go and children below 12 years and senior citizens above 60 years are not allowed.
It depends entirely on personal choice. But if one loves sunsets, then it is recommended to visit during late afternoons towards evening time.
