Motiongate Dubai is the largest adventure park based on a Hollywood theme in Dubai. This park is truly meant for a complete family entertainment package. The three legendary film studios – Lionsgate, Columbia Pictures, and Dreamworks Animations have a combined blend that is reflected right here within this park.

The park has a total of five zones namely Columbia Pictures, Dreamworks, Lionsgate, Smurfs Village, and Studio Central. You also get a chance to meet and greet your favorite characters by going beyond the screen. The park also houses 27 different Hollywood theme-based rides and attractions.

Some famous attractions here are Hotel Transylvania, Zombieland Blast Off, Ghostbusters, Underworld 4D, Green Hornet, and Flint’s Imagination Lab. The zones are inspired by animation movies like Shrek, Ghostbusters, Smurfs, etc. and action movies like Hunger Games.

Roller Coaster Rides

Flint Imagination Labs, Zombieland Blast-Off, The Green Hornet: High-Speed Chase, Smurfberry Factory, Woodland Play Park, Smurf Village Express, Madagascar Mad Pursuit, Dragon Gliders, and Capitol Bullet Train are some roller coaster rides to enjoy here.

Besides these, there are nine restaurants, plenty of kiosks for the family, and around fifteen retail outlets. There is also a theatre that is so huge, it has a 1000 heads seating capacity.

You can reach Motiongate Dubai by metro, bus, Uber, taxi, or even drive down. The entire trip takes around 4-5 hours. Try to visit this theme park anytime between November to March as this period is a good time. The park is open from 2 am-10 pm daily except on Thursdays and Fridays on which the park is open from 2 am-11 pm, adding an extra hour to your enjoyment. The price is 175AED per person.

There are plenty of restaurants and eating joints to satisfy your hunger. Enjoy some quick bites like burgers, fries, salads, sandwiches, and even ice creams and desserts at Hotel Beastro. Try some Chinese delicacies like dumplings, noodle soups at Mr. Ping’s Noodle Shop. King Julien’s Side Show Café is famous even around Dubai as it serves Shepherd’s Pie and mashed potatoes that make a good dinner meal. Do not forget to join their full-fledged dance party.

You can also relish some amazing non – veg food at restaurants like Very Smurfy Café, Baby Brent’s Luncheonette, Candy Apple, and Dragon Flame Grill that includes grilled chicken, Arabic style food, Italian style pizzas, beef appetizers, shawarma, and kebabs.

This place also has shops selling different items. It is indeed a shopper’s paradise. There are around twelve or more shops selling everything from A-Z. You will get to buy things like toys, jewelry, flip flops, sweets and candies like chocolates, jellybeans, lollipops and gummy bears, photographs of the theme park, Hollywood related products like film accessories, apparel, different movie-inspired merchandise like mugs, magnets, caps, notebooks, stationery, Halloween theme souvenirs and gifts, beach towels, travel bags, t-shirts and more. All these stores are separate from their themes and merchandise.

Purchase tickets online to get good discounts. For better offers, try purchasing multi-park tickets. Arrive early to avoid large crowds and enjoy all the rides and attractions to the fullest. Keep navigating to all the different zones to enjoy it all. Some rides may be under maintenance so you can enjoy them later. Check certain rides before going on them with the kids as there are height restrictions to some. Try visiting on weekdays as the weekends get crowded.

 Pets are not allowed inside the park. Check weather conditions before you come here. Smoking is strictly prohibited. There are facilities like ATMs, first aid stations, strollers, lockers, and wheelchair. Try to reserve outdoor attractions during the evening-night time. Save time by using the tram facility within the park to take you to different zones.
