Belgium Visa For Indians

Types of Belgium Visa

 

Tourist Visa – For the applicants whose main purpose of the visit to Belgium is for tourism or to meet their family & friends are required to apply for tourist visas under the Short Term Visa – C category. The visa will be valid for 30 days or per the consulate decision mentioned on the visa.

Business Visa – Applicants intending to visit Belgium to attend the business meetings, conferences, and seminars are supposed to apply for a business visa under the Short Term Visa – C category. The visa will be valid for 30 days or per the consulate decision mentioned on the visa.

Transit Visa – Applicants traveling to the third country and transiting through Belgium needs to have a transit visa. A Transit Visa is applied under the Short Term Visa – C category. The visa validity will be as per the consulate decision mentioned on the visa.

Is the visa for Belgium applied online?
No, the visa isn’t applied online however the applicant needs to fill and submit the form online.
Is insurance mandatory before applying for the visa?
Yes, Insurance is a mandatory document. Insurance must have coverage of 30,000 Euros covering the entire stay in the Schengen areas.
Is confirmed air ticket mandatory for applying for the visa?
No, confirmed air ticket is not mandatory however the itinerary must be submitted for processing of the visa.
Do I need to visit the VFS center for the submission of the documents?
Yes, the applicant is required to visit the center as they are required to submit biometrics. However once submitted biometrics is valid for 59 months irrespective of the Schengen country for which you have submitted.
When is the earliest I can apply for the Belgium Visa?
Belgium visa can be applied 90 days before the intended date of travel.
My Passport is expiring in a few months can I apply for the Belgium Visa?
No, you cannot apply for the visa as the passport must be valid for 3 months from the intended date of exit from the Belgium/Schengen area.
Is there any express service facility available for Belgium Visa?
No, there is no express service facility for applying for a Belgium Visa hence the applicant is advised to apply at least 30 days before the intended date of travel.
Are the visa fees refunded if the visa gets rejected?
No, consulate fees, VFS logistic fees, and our service fees none of it is refunded in case of visa getting rejected.
How long can I stay in Belgium or any of the Schengen countries with a valid visa?
You can stay for a maximum of 30 days or as per the conditions mentioned on the visa.
Can I reapply for the Belgium visa if my visa gets rejected?
