Canada can+ visa is if you have traveled to Canada in the last 10 years, still holding a visa or you are having a US passport or visa then your visa is considered a Canada Can plus visa. Can+ visa is a program that is set by the government of Canada which is only for the visitor visa. This is a program of speeding up the process of the tourists who have visited Canada in the past 10 years or still holding a visa or having a US passport, these cases require less documentation. Documents required for Canada Can Plus Visa

 

  • Photograph (digital photographs if you are applying online or two hard copies if you are applying from visa application center. Photo specification of Canada visa is the same as Indian specification. )
  • The application form name IMM 5257
  • Another form for family information that is form IMM 5707. This form just requires basic information about the family-like name, age, address, occupation, birth dates, employment details.
  • Passport copy with details of name, date, place of birth, issue and expiry date of the passport.
  • Copy of entry and exit stamp of Canada or valid visa of US to prove that you have visited the countries before in the last 10 years.

 

These documents should be attached compulsorily when you will apply for Canada can+ visa. You need to visit the VAC center for submission of documents & biometrics. On completion of the visa process, you will receive a sticker visa.

 

The process takes place mostly within 10 to 12 days. For collection of the passport you need to visit the VAC center where it was originally submitted or you can also opt for courier service by paying the nominal charges.

Where to Apply? – Canada Visitor / Tourist Visa

Once you are ready with all the documents and appointment letter, on the scheduled appointment day you need to visit the Vfs global Canada center where your appointment is booked. You need to carry all the documents in the original/copy while visiting the Vfs global Canada  center. Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, New Delhi, Chandigarh, Jalandhar are some of the centers wherein Canada Visit Visa applications are accepted.

 

After Submission – Canada Visitor / Tourist Visa

Once you have submitted your Canada Visa application at the Vfs global Canada Visa application centre you can track your application online on the Vfs global Canada website or by calling on the VFS Website with the help of the reference number provided by the VFS on submission of the application and payment of the fees. You can also opt for an additional service of SMS provided by VFS at nominal charges. Once you receive the Passport with an approved visa you are ready to fly. The maximum stay period will be of 6 months on your arrival to Canada in a single visit.
