How to Apply for the Malaysia eNTRI Note?

 

The multi-cultural country, financial powerhouse and business hub is popular for its beautiful beaches, elevated hill stations, busy islands, and known for its UNESCO world heritage sites.

 

However, there are several things to consider while you are planning your Malaysian retreat. One of which is getting a Malaysian Visa. We will help you with the  Malaysia Tourist Visa application process for Indians from the beginning.

 

Malaysian Government has started eNTRI Note facility for many countries, one of which is India. eNTRI Note is very easy to apply and simple to process when you are approaching to one of the best visa agent in town.

 

For your better understanding, we have listed all formalities, eligibility & procedure which is important to understand, before applying for eNTRI Note.

 

  • eNTRI Note for Malaysia is an online visa procedure. You do not need to visit the VFS center for submitting the documents or for biometrics.
  • Scanned documents in the proper format are the only concern for this visa.
  • eNTRI Note will be an E-Visa.
  • Once applied for eNTRI Note you cannot apply it again till 90 days. If you need to travel again you have to opt for Malaysia Multiple Entry Visa. This is also an online process and will take 3 -4 working days to complete the process with the charges of 25 USD consulate fees and INR 1050 will be VFS charges.

Eligibility for applying eNTRI Note?

 

  • You need to have the validity of the passport for 6 months on arrival in Malaysia.
  • You need to prove your purpose of the visit
  • Need to have sufficient funds during your stay in Malaysia.
  • You need to prove social and economic ties in your home country and you will return once your visa expires.

 

Procedure for applying eNTRI Note

 

  • It is an online process
  • You need to apply it by creating your profile on the website.
  • After creating the profile you need to fill in all the details related to travel
  • On creating the profile, you need to upload all the required scanned documents
  • On the successful uploading of the documents, you will be guided to the payment page. Visa fees can be paid through Debit/Credit card fees.
  • Once the payment is done. Your visa copy is ready.
  • You need to download the eNTRI Note and take the color print.

When can I apply for an eNTRI note?
You can apply 90 days before your travel date.
What will be the validity of the eNTRI note?
The validity of the eNTRI Note is 90 days with single entry.
How long can I stay in Malaysia with this valid eNTRI note
You can stay for a maximum of 15 days with a valid eNTRI note.
What is the processing time for eNTRI note?
It takes 1 day to complete the entire process once the profile is created and submitted you will receive the visa immediately.
What are the mandatory documents for enTRI note?
Scanned copy of the bio pages of Passport Scanned Photo Air Ticket Hotel Bookings
Do I need to book Travel Insurance for applying eNTRI note?
No, Travel Insurance is not mandatory for applying for the visa.
If my eNTRI note gets rejected when can I apply again?
You can apply for an eNTRI note only after the cooling period of 3 months is over. However, if your eNTRI note gets rejected you can immediately apply for Online Multiple Entry Visa.
What are the restrictions while traveling to Malaysia with eNTRI note?
You need to enter Malaysia only through authorized exit & entry points by the Malaysian Government. You can either have a direct flight from India to Malaysia or via Singapore, Thailand, and Brunei. You can enter Malaysia through the land from Johor, Perlis, Kedah, and Sarawak.

  • Scanned Photograph (35 X 45 MM 70 % Face White Background – Recent Photograph. JPG format).

  • Invitation Letter from Malaysian Company on Company Letter Head.

 

If you have plans to re visit Malaysia in 90 Days, than you can apply Malaysia Multiple Entry and save Rs.750/-

 

Reasons for Rejection of Malaysia Visa

 

  • Wrong Information filled up in the profile.
  • Gender mentioned wrongly in the profile.
  • Name not as per Passport or Passport number wrongly mentioned.
  • Date of Birth, Passport Issue Date & Expiry Date wrongly mentioned.
  • To and Fro Tickets not attached.
  • Hotel Accommodation not attached for the entire stay.
  • Purpose of travel wrongly selected.
  • Uploaded photo not as per the specifications.
  • Uploaded Bio Pages of Passport not clearly visible or not as per the required format.
  • Traveling to the third country and visa not attached.

 

Points to Remember

 

  • Carry a color copy of eNTRI Note
  • You can apply eNTRI Note before 90 days of your travel or at least 48 hrs before travel
  • eNTRI Note once applied cannot be reapplied for 3 months
  • You need to have a direct flight from India to Malaysia for this visa to remain valid OR,
  • You can enter Malaysia via land/air through Singapore, Thailand, Brunei
  • You cannot have a transit in any other country apart from Singapore, Thailand, Brunei while traveling to Malaysia
  • You can enter once into Malaysia through this visa.
  • In the case of re-entering Malaysia, you need to apply for a Multiple entry visa.
  • You need to enter through the certain authorized land entry and exit points by the Malaysian Government which includes Johor, Perlis, Kedah, and Sarawak.
