Steps For Applying for a Skilled People

  • You need to submit EOI and at least secure 100 points to get into the pool.
  • Every 2 weeks EOI is selected from the pool. The number of points secured, age, experience, and employment will be considered if you meet all the criteria of skilled migrant expression of interest you can be invited to apply for residence.
  • If selected you will be sent a form of “Application for Residence under Skilled Migrant Category”.
  • Submit the form INZ 1105 & INZ 1235 at the administrative centers.
  • You need to make an online payment of NZD 530 by debit or credit card for EOI.
  • Step 2 will be to make an online payment of NZD 3,310 for Applying for Residence.
  • After submission of the form, it will take up to 6 months to complete the process.
