  • The point-based system is used to access the expression of interest.
  • Applicants who secure 160 points and above in EOI are selected.
  • You can work & study in New Zealand with this visa.
  • You can include your, partner & dependent children under the age of 24 years with this application.

 

  • You need to submit EOI and at least secure 100 points to get into the pool.
  • Every 2 weeks EOI is selected from the pool. The number of points secured, age, experience, and employment will be considered if you meet all the criteria of skilled migrant expression of interest you can be invited to apply for residence.
  • If selected you will be sent a form of “Application for Residence under Skilled Migrant Category”.
  • Submit the form INZ 1105 & INZ 1235 at the administrative centers.
  • You need to make an online payment of NZD 530 by debit or credit card for EOI.
  • Step 2 will be to make an online payment of NZD 3,310 for Applying for Residence.
  • After submission of the form, it will take up to 6 months to complete the process.

  • You can only work for the employer who’s job offer is based on your application.

  • You must have an offer to work in New Zealand for an occupation that is included in the Long Term Skill Shortage List with necessary work experience, skills, qualification, and the registration for that work.
  • You must be offered a full-time job for at least 24 months.
