Steps to Get Dubai Visa Post Lockdown

 

Tourism is the heart of Dubai and Covid-19 has not much affected to encourage people to visit Dubai and hence Dubai was one of the first countries in the world to welcome the tourist post lockdown and the steps to get a Dubai visa post lockdown hasn’t changed much and so the craze for Dubai still stays intact irrespective of the pandemic.

Eligibility to apply Dubai Visa post lockdown

 

All the applicants traveling to Dubai must have a valid Passport for 6 months from the intended date of travel, a valid return ticket, and to prove that the applicant will exit Dubai before the visa expires.

 

Applicants must have insurance for 30/90 days depending on the visa issued, negative Covid-19 PCR test report that has to be taken 24 – 96 hrs before the travel, health declaration form, and quarantine undertaking form.

 

How to apply Dubai visa online

 

  • Dubai Visa is an online process and the applicant is not required to visit the VFS center or embassy/consulate as there is no requirement for document submission on paper or biometrics.

 

  • The applicant needs to take the guidance and the support of the travel agent to get the visa done. An applicant is required to scan all the documents in the JPEG format and sent it to the travel agent through email.

 

  • The travel agent will apply on behalf of the applicant and the normal visa processing time is of 4 -5 working days.

 

  • Once the visa is processed the applicant will receive the visa through the mail or on Whatsapp.

 

  • Post lockdown it has become mandatory for all the applicants to issue and hold valid health insurance covering Covid-19.

 

  • PCR- Covid 19 test is mandatory to be done 96 hours before the travel from the government recognized laboratories.
  • Travelers having negative reports are only allowed to travel.

 

Types of Visa processed post lockdown

 

Dubai 14 days tourist visa  –  14 days Dubai visa is for those applicants who are traveling to Dubai for less than 14 days single entry. The validity of this visa is 60 days and the stay will be of a maximum of 14 days.

 

30 days Dubai tourist visa – 30 days Dubai tourist visa is the most relevant and applied for the visa by the tourist/visitors this visa allows to stay for 30 days with a single entry and this visa is valid for 60 days.

 

90 days Dubai tourist visa – This visa is generally opted by those applicants who are visiting their family & friends in Dubai and intend to stay longer than 30 days. This visa is valid for 90 days, single entry, and the maximum stay allowed in this visa is also of 90 days.

 

Post lockdown currently 48 hrs & 96 hrs transit visa is not processed.

 

Documents required for processing Dubai Visa post lockdown

 

  • Bio-pages of the Passport scanned in color

 

  • Photograph scanned in color, and

 

  • Pan card

 

  • Insurance

 

Dubai visa is in  4-5 working days. Once the visa is received and your ticket is issued and make sure to carry the following documents:

 

  • Health declaration form

 

  • Covid -19 PCR test to be done within 96 hrs before traveling

 

  • Quarantine undertaking form.

 

OK TO BOARD

 

OK TO BOARD (OTB) is to be updated by those applicants who have Emigration Check Required remark in the Passport. OTB is updated once the visa and the air ticket is issued. OTB update will be done by the travel agent who has processed the Dubai visa. It has to be done at least 48 hrs before the travel.

 

Applicants having the Emigration Check Required remark in the Passport if doesn’t update the OTB may be deported at the airport and won’t be allowed to travel until you have this remark updated on the ticket.
