Langkawi is a beautiful island in Malaysia and it is widely known for its blend of beaches, jungles, manmade structures, and paddy fields. To add to these, the island is also known for its rich cultural heritage, vibrant nightlife, and delicious dishes.
The beaches here are filled with white and clean sands and coconut trees. The clear blue waters give opportunities for watersports attracting passionate divers to the island.
Although there are many sightseeing places around, the yacht dinner also called the Langkawi sunset cruise with dinner is something you should not miss out on. It is a combination of drinks, food and a ride out in the Andaman sea accompanied with a beautiful sunset to admire.
The sunset cruise starts with a pick up from the hotel at 4.30pm. Based on availability you are then taken to any one of the harbors to get aboard the cruise. One you set sail, you can either admire the sunset while you sit on the boat or relax in the Jacuzzi. At 7pm you are served dinner and by 8pm you are taken back to shore and dropped off at your hotel. The whole experience lasts for 3.5 hours.
The tickets are priced at 280 RM for adults and child (5-12 years) is 140 RM with transfer. Without transfer the tickets are priced are 260 RM for adult and child (5-12 years) is 130 RM. You could either choose a private or a shared transfer as per your convenience. There are English speaking staff on board. The dinner served here is BBQ but there are veg options too. Alcoholic (only for 21+ age as per the law) and non-alcoholic, both types of beverages are served. In case you plan on jumping into the water or relaxing on the net for a while, make sure to carry change of clothes and swimming gear along with you. This tour is not meant for people with serious medical conditions and pregnant women.
You can enjoy this cruise either with family or friends or maybe make it a romantic getaway with your partner. Get to witness amazing sunset views at the horizon as the cool breeze brushes against your face and if you are lucky you may even get to see some dolphins or flying fish while onboard.
