Breakfast and Departure: After breakfast, begin your journey towards Nubra Valley, known for its dramatic landscapes and sand dunes. Khardung La Pass: Drive through Khardung La, one of the highest motorable passes in the world (5,602 meters). Enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Arrive in Nubra Valley: Explore the picturesque Nubra Valley. This region is famous for its unique double-humped Bactrian camels and desert-like terrain. Visit Diskit Monastery, the oldest and largest monastery in Nubra, offering spectacular views of the valley. Optional: Ride a camel on the sand dunes of Hunder Village. Morning in Nubra: After breakfast, drive towards Pangong Lake, one of Ladakh's most famous landmarks. Drive to Pangong Lake: The journey to Pangong Lake takes about 5-6 hours. You'll pass through the Shyok River and cross scenic mountain landscapes. Pangong Lake: Spend time at Pangong Lake, known for its unique colorchanging blue waters and its stunning backdrop of the snow-capped mountains. Take a walk along the lake or enjoy a peaceful moment by the shores. Visit the famous spot near the lake where Bollywood’s movie 3 Idiots was shot. Overnight Stay: Stay at a camp or guesthouse near Pangong Lake to enjoy the serene atmosphere under the stars.
