While holidaying in Dubai, make sure to visit one of the most refreshing waterparks called Laguna Waterpark. Located next to Jumeirah Beach in the heart of La Mer, this waterpark has amazing water slides. Besides these, there are water sports and beach activities to engage in. The park recently opened in 2018 May. Prices are much lower compared to other parks in Dubai.

Spread across a vast area, the park has a total of four themed zones and five main slides to enhance your experience. It offers fun in its different zones like the lazy river (sit and relax in the lazy river with the little ones as you go with the flow along with the oasis, also play water games and teach those who don’t know how to swim) infinity pool lounge (dive in and swim and even take a bite in the poolside café), cabanas (relax and unwind or lie down under the shade as you watch people enjoying the water slides or playing in the pools), children’s play area, beaches and water slides where the temperatures of the water are controlled. There are also special sessions held like the Lady’s Night on Thursdays and surfboarding classes on Saturdays.

Take a journey on these classy slides and splash your way through. The park is open daily from 10 am-8 pm. Tickets for infants below 2 years are free. For residents and nonresidents, it is 99AED and 159AED respectively.

For a full day entry purchase, the full day passes online. This pass gives access to all rides, the beach as well as the play area. Tickets for infants below 2years is free. Online price for adults is 125AED and it is 145AED for gate price.

Ladies Thursday Night – this night is exclusively for the ladies to enjoy some leisure time. It starts at 7 pm and ends at midnight. A team of ladies runs the park so if they wish to chill out more they can do so till 2 am having shisha. The price is 125 AED.

Resident annual pass – these passes are a treat for residents. It gives access to the waterpark anytime during the year. It also gives access to annual weekdays as well. The pass has extra facilities like a discount on food, beverages as well as 10% on retail merchandise. The price of this pass is 249AED.

Exclusive Cabana Experience – cabanas are reserved especially if you buy this pass for the whole day and it allows only up to 4 people at once. Along with this entry, it also provides access to lounges, beach towels, lockers, welcome drinks, cold towels, all rides, and even to the beach. The price is 1140AED.

Surf Up Saturdays – along with a full day pass with access to the rides and surfboards which will be given to you at the WaveOz180 Flow rider, you also get a 3hour surfing lesson only on Saturdays from 9 am-12 pm. The price is 199AED.

This park is open 365 days throughout the year. So you can visit Dubai and find this park open anytime during the year. The five main slides are WaveOz180 (this surfboarding 180degree slide takes you as high as 187ft, a thrilling experience making it a star ride in the park, also enjoy the view of Arabian Sea from up there) Free Fall (enter the capsule and have a heart-stopping fall down to splash into the water), Mad Racer (race side by side with your friend on this waterslide), Constrictor, Flatline loop body slide (many people love this because all you have to do is go round and round in a transparent tube 360degrees till you splash down) and Manta raft ride (take this small ride with family or friends, only 3-4 persons are allowed at once. Take this ride and then drop down on the manta wing to get all splashy in the waters).

The Aqua Play Rainfortress (filled with fun waterslides and a giant soaker bucket) and Splash Pad (includes splash pools and squirting water points) also attract a lot of guests especially kids. You can rest in the Cabanas and enjoy your drinks. There are also licensed bars and restaurants and even retail stores to shop at. You can also visit La Mer beachfront.

You can take bus no. 9 or bus no. 88 to reach Village Mall and from there take a taxi directly to the waterpark. A direct cab from the airport would also do. Visit this park during February and October as the cool water refreshes you. Weekends are crowded but holiday time is the best time to come here. There is parking available for 4hours at 100AED minimum charge.

Things to carry while you come here are camera, comfortable shoes, sunglasses, an ID card, sunscreen, towel, bathing suit, and an extra pair of clothes. Swimwear is a must for going on the rides and slides. You can also buy swimsuits from the retail shops here. Avoid standing in long queues and book tickets online. Outside food is prohibited. Take care of the kids while going on any ride especially kids under 13years of age.

The locker facility is available at additional cost. Make sure to check height restrictions before going on any ride. You need to be at 1.2m and above to go on certain rides. Eat-in the rooftop café to get a beautiful view of the Dubai skyline and the Arabian Gulf.

Diving is not permitted since the water levels are shallow in mostly all the pools. The entire waterpark is wheelchair friendly. You also get to have unlimited beverages and food up to 5 pm. There is free Wifi in the park.
