You will need to pay an additional fee of INR 110 for this service. You will then receive notifications on your registered email address and mobile number whenever there is an update on your application status.


3.Phone Call

You will need to provide your reference number and date of birth to the customer service representative. The helpline is available from Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00, except on public holidays.


4.Passport Collection

You can collect your passport from the same VFS Global center where you submitted your application, then you will need to bring your original receipt, a copy of your passport’s bio page, and a valid ID proof, You can also authorize someone else to collect your passport on your behalf, such as a family member, friend, or travel agent. They will need to bring an authorization letter signed by you, a copy of your passport’s bio page, a copy of their ID proof, and the original receipt.


If you have opted for courier service, you will receive an email or SMS alert with the tracking number of your passport. You can then track the delivery status of your passport on the courier company’s website.
