How to apply for a China Business visa?

 

  • China Business Visa is an offline process. Documents are to be submitted at the VFS center as per the jurisdiction. You need to select an appropriate category based on your purpose while applying for the China Business visa. There is no biometrics for China Business Visa applicants.

 

Eligibility for applying for the China Business visa

  • You need to have a Passport that has the validity of 6 months when you arrive in China.
  • You need to prove that you hold a business or an employee in your home country to support your stay in China for business purposes.
  • You need to prove your business relations in China with the help of proper documentation if you are visiting for a business meeting.
  • China offers Single Entry, Double Entry, and 6 months Multiple Entry for all the business visa applicants as per the needs and based on your earlier travel to China.

 

How to process China business visa from India?

 

Procedure for applying for a China business visa

  • You need to first collect the documents from a Chinese company that will be inviting you to business meetings in China.
  • The next step will be the online form for the business visa which will have the details related to your Passport, Employment, Family, Inviting Company details, Purpose of Travel, Type of Entry, and Travel History.
  • On completion of the form, you need to start collecting the documents as per the document checklist for a business visa. You don’t need to submit the form online instead take the print of the filled form. Details in the cover letter and invitation must be in co-ordination.
  • While filling up the form you will be having an option of selecting Single, Double, or 6 months Multiple Entry. Based on your purpose of travel and as mentioned in the cover letter & invitation letter you need to select the entry.
  • Documents from China must be in a proper scanned format that allows proper printing of the documents while submission.
  • Application can be submitted by your travel agent. You do not need to visit the center for completing the process it can be done by the travel agent.
  • Once the application is submitted at the application at the VFS center, you will receive the visa in 4 -5 working days.
  • You will receive a stamped visa in the Passport.

 

 

Documents required for China Business Visa for Indians

 

  • Original Passport
  • China Visa Form
  • 2 Photographs
  • Self Employed – Cover Letter on your company letterhead addressing to China Consulate with Name, Passport Number, Expiry Date of Passport, your designation, and signature and seal of the company.
  • Company Registration Proof
  • Employed – Cover letter from your employer on company letterhead addressing to China Consulate with your Name, Passport Number, and Expiry Date of Passport. The letter must be signed by the authorized signatory of the company mentioning his/her name and designation in the company with seal & sign.

 

Documents required from China for Business Visa

  • Invitation Letter on Company Letterhead with Authorized Signatory Person’s Name, Designation, Signature, and Seal of the company.
  • Trade License of the Inviting Company
  • China ID Proof of the person who has signed the invitation letter.

When can I apply for a Chinese Business Visa?
You can apply 30 days before your intended date of arrival in China for Business.
What will be the maximum stay period with China Business visa?
Single Entry – Validity 90 days – stay 30 days Double Entry – Validity 180 days – stay 30 days on one arrival. 6 months Multiple Entry – Validity 180 days – stay 30 days on one arrival.
Do I need to have travel insurance before applying for China Business Visa?
No, Travel Insurance is not mandatory for applying for China Business Visa. However, travel insurance can be booked for international travel.
Do I need to have confirmed Air Tickets and Hotel Accommodation while applying for the China Business visa?
No, Air Tickets & Hotel Accommodation are not required for applying for Business Visa. Applicants entering twice in China needs to hold a confirmed Air Ticket to prove the Double Entry into China.
If my China Tourist visa gets rejected can I reapply?
Yes, you can reapply China Visa immediately in case of rejection. While re applying make sure to submit all the documents which were the cause for the rejection earlier.
Are the Consulate & VFS charges are refunded incase of visa getting rejected?
Yes, Consulate Charges are refunded. However, VFS charges are not refunded in case of rejection.
Do I need to make any medical tests before applying for China Business Visa?
No, medical tests are not required for applying for China Tourist Visa.
Is there any express service available for China Business Visa?
Yes, China offers express service by paying the extra charges of INR 4,278/- to VFS. However, the consulate doesn’t charge extra for express service.
