  • Denmark Tourist Visa – Applicants visiting Denmark as a visitor need to apply for the tourist visa under the category of the short-term visa wherein the purpose of the visit must be tourism or meeting family & friends in Denmark. The validity of the visa will be of 30 days or as approved by the Consular Officer.
  • Denmark Business Visa– When the purpose of visiting Denmark is to attend business meetings, conferences, and seminars then the applicant is required to apply for the business visa under the category of short term visa. The validity of the visa will be of 30 days or as approved by the Consular Officer.
  • Denmark Transit Visa– While traveling to the third country if the applicant transits through Denmark i.e having a stopover in Denmark they need to apply for the transit visa. The validity of the visa will be as mentioned on the visa.

Is the visa for Denmark applied online?

No, the visa is not applied online however the applicant needs to fill and submit the form online as well the visa fees are to be paid online before visiting the VFS center for submission of the documents. Only VFS logistic fees are to be paid in cash at the center.

Is insurance mandatory before applying for the visa?

Yes, Insurance is a mandatory document and is a part of the document checklist as prescribed by the consulate. Insurance must have coverage of 30,000 Euros covering the entire stay in the Schengen areas.

Do I need to visit the VFS center for the submission of the documents?

Yes, the applicant is required to visit the center as they are required to submit biometrics. However once submitted biometrics is valid for 59 months irrespective of the Schengen country for which you have submitted.

When is the earliest I can apply for the Denmark Visa?

Denmark visa can apply 90 days before the intended date of travel.

My Passport is expiring in a few months can I apply for the Denmark Visa?

No, you cannot apply for the visa as the passport must have the validity of 3 months from the intended date of exit from the Schengen area.

Is there any express service facility available for Denmark Visa?
