  • Applying for a New Zealand Business visa is an online process that is a part of the Visitor Visa. You don’t need to visit the center for biometrics purposes nor the submission of any documents instead of just a visit at the VFS center for passport verification.
  • To get the New Zealand visa done you just need to be aware on the process and the documentation and then it can be applied online without any hassles.

  • New Zealand is an online visa process you need to get all the documents scanned in a proper format to upload it with your application. It can be uploaded in a JPEG or PDF format as advised on the website.
  • The first thing you need to do while starting to fill up the online application will be to select the category for which you need to be very careful. A wrong selection may lead to the rejection of the visa.
  • For Business purpose travel you need to select the visitor visa category. There will be a separate application for business for each traveler.
  • An application will consist of your details, employment details, the purpose of your travel, family details, financial details, and medical history if any.
  • You do not need to complete the application at once you can save it and continue later at your convenience.
  • Once you fill up the entire application form you will be guided towards the uploading of the documents. The next step after online application submission will be to make the online payment which will be of NZD 246/- and can be done through Debit/Credit Card. On completion of the payment, you need to download the payment receipt and the Thank you letter which has the applicant details and needs to carry at the VFS Center.
  • You don’t need to make an appointment for the VFS center instead you can visit directly with the required documents. Make sure to visit the VFS center not later than 2-3 days after online submission as till the passport is not verified by the VFS center your application won’t be processed further.
  • Documents required at the VFS center will be Original Passport (current & expired), Xerox of all the pages of the Current Passport, Thank you letter copy, and payment receipt. At the VFS center, they will collect the Xerox and rescan the current Passport and return it the same day in maybe an hour.
  • On completion of the entire online process and visiting VFS center you need to wait around 35-40 days for the process to get completed. You will receive an E-Visa copy on your registered mail id.
  • New Zealand Business Visa application is an online process hence is applied online on the Immigration website.
  • Passport Verification is done at your nearby VFS Center. You need to carry Original Passports, Xerox of all the pages of the Current Passport, Thank You Letter, Payment receipt generated on completion of the online submission. VFS Locations where Verification of Passports are done is at Mumbai, Pune, New Delhi, Chandigarh, Jalandhar, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Ahmedabad.

Though the visa once approved will be mailed on the registered mail id by the immigration department as well as can be checked on the website on your profile page.
