Eligibility For Applying For Australia Business Visa

 

  • You need to Hold a Passport with a validity of 6 months on arrival in Australia.
  • You need to prove that you are a genuine visitor and your purpose is solely business and has no intention to stay back and will leave Australia before the visa expires.
  • Need to hold sufficient funds to manage your stay in Australia including Air Ticket, Accommodations, Internal Travel, and Medical Expenses if any.

 

Procedure For Applying For Australia Business Visa

 

  • Australia Business visa is an online process. You need to scan all the documents in the JPEG or PDF format as advised on the website. All these scanned documents will be a part of the online application and will be uploaded with the application.
  • Once you start the application on the Australian Immigration Website you need to know of the category to be selected. Business Category comes under Visitor Visa – Subclass 600 this includes attending Business meetings, conferences, and seminars.
  • The application form will have your details, employment details, family details, finance details, travel plans, and inviting company details.
  • Australia Business visa application allows us to log in at our convenience and by saving all the filled details.
  • Once the entire online application form is completed you are supposed to upload all the scanned documents. On submitting the form, you will be guided to the payment page. Payment for Visa Fees can be made either through a Debit/Credit Card of 146/- AUD. After making the payment you need to download the payment receipt also you will receive the mail on registered mail id on the successful submission of the application with the reference number.
  • If required you can upload any other document which needs to be the part of your application through the Australian Immigration website on your profile page
  • Normal Processing time for Australia Business Visa application is between 17-20 days. It will be an E-Visa, you will receive it on your registered mail id or can log in to your profile and get the visa copy there.

  • Color Scanned copies of the pages which has travel stamps & visa of current & expired Passports if any

  • Signed, Sealed & Scanned Detailed Cover letter from the company on the company letterhead  addressing to Australian Embassy
  • Company Appointment Letter or Offer Letter scanned
  • Salary slips for the last 3 months scanned
  • Leave Letter or NOC scanned mentioning the purpose and duration of the travel
  • Income Tax Returns for the Last 3 years scanned
  • Bank Statement attested for the last 6 months scanned
  • Any other financial documents to be scanned.
  • Any other required documents scanned

 

Self-Employed Applicants

 

  • Signed & Scanned Detailed Cover letter mentioning the purpose and stay duration on Company Letterhead addressing to Australian Embassy
  • Income Tax Returns for Last 3 years scanned
  • Bank Statement attested for last 6 months scanned
  • Company Income Tax Returns for Last 3 years scanned
  • Company Bank Statement attested for last 6 months scanned
  • Company Registration Certificate Scanned copy
  • Any other important company papers scan copies.

 

Invited Applicants

 

  • Invitation letter with all the company details & inviting person’s detail on the company letter head which must signed & scanned
  • Passport copy color scanned of the Inviter if applicable
  • PR/Visa copy scanned of the inviter if applicable

You can apply at least 90 days before your intended travel date.
2. What Will Be The Period Of Stay While Holding A Visitor Visa In Australia?
The stay period is normally for 3 months or else as mentioned on the visa which needs to be strictly followed.
3. Do I Need To Issue Travel Insurance While Applying For A Visa?
No, Travel Insurance is not required for applying for a visa however, it is advisable to issue travel insurance before traveling.
4. Do I Need To Have Confirmed Air Tickets And Hotel Bookings For Australia While Applying For The Visa?
No, Air Tickets and Hotel Accommodation is not required to be booked until you receive the visa. However, if you plan to book make sure to have refundable bookings.
5. If My Australia Visit Visa Gets Rejected Can I Reapply?

7. Do I Need To Take Any Medical Tests Before Traveling To Australia?
No, Medical tests are not mandatory to be done before traveling. However, if your stay period in Australia is more than 3 months you need to do the medical tests as prescribed by the consulate. For medical tests, a mail will be sent on the registered mail id from the immigration department mentioning the medical tests required and the Hospitals where it can be done. While visiting the hospital you need to carry the original passport, & Xerox of the passport, payment receipt and medical test paper which was received through the mail. All the reports will be directly submitted by the hospital to the Immigration department processing the visa. Your visa processing will start only after your medical test reports are submitted. You need to have a prior appointment before visiting the hospital.
8. Is There Any Express Service Available For The Australia Visa?

How to check the online status of the Australian Application?

  • On completion of the entire online process, you need to check the status after around 17 days by logging into your profile at Australia Home Affairs website. Immigration also intimates with the visa copy on the registered Mail ID. A Visa copy will be an E-Visa that needs to printed while traveling.
