China Transit Visa is an offline process. Documents are to be submitted at the VFS center.

 

You need to select the transit visa category while applying for the visa. There is no biometrics for China Transit Visa applicants. China applications are submitted jurisdiction wise

  • You need to hold a Passport with the validity of 6 months when you arrive in China.
  • You need to prove that you hold sufficient finances in your home country to support your stay in China.
  • You need to prove your purpose of visit to China, a ticket copy of the third country you are traveling and a visa copy of the third country

  • Cover Letter
  • Confirmed Air Ticket
  • Last 6 months attested Bank Statement with a minimum balance of INR 1,60,000/-
  • Hotel Accommodation (if applicable)
  • Visa copy of the destination country

Procedure For Applying For China Transit Visa

  • You need to first start with the online form for a transit visa which will have the details related to your Passport, Purpose of Travel, Type of Entry, Employment, and Travel History.
  • On completion of the form, you need to start collecting the documents as per the document checklist. The form is not to be submitted online. You have to take a print on completion of the form. Documents will be as per the checklist for transit purposes.
  • Once all the documents are ready you can submit it to your travel agent. You are not required to visit the center for completing the process it can be done through the travel agent.
  • On successful submission of the application at the VFS center, you will receive the visa in 4 -5 working days.
